quote [ This is a game project for S10-05833 - Gadgets, Sensors, and Activity Recognition in HCI taught by Scott Hudson at Carnegie Mellon University. I created a simple version of Super Mario Bros using an 8x8 LED matrix (one color), an Arduino Nano, two buttons for the input (forward and jump), and a piezo sensor hooked to a separate Arduino for the theme song. ]

Im in a digital art course where they are trying to introduce us to simple physical computing, arduinos lying on the difficult side of what we are supposed to attempt. Meaning, I actually grasp that this is cool beyond, 'Look, hey, Mario!' |

pretty awesome, but why all of the mario-worship?? theme sone was completely unrelated to gameplay, gameplay was 8x8 block side scroller... be creative and come up with something! Not every jumping block has to be Mario. |
